Terms of Service
The deal between you and FAME, written the way we'd want to read it. Short sections, no walls of legalese.
Last updated · August 31, 2026
1. The deal
FAME (www.fame.trade) is operated by the FAME team ("we" and "us" below). By visiting the site, signing in, or using any part of the service, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with something here, the honest move is not to use FAME. No hard feelings.
2. Who can use FAME
You need to be at least 18 years old, and you need to be somewhere it's lawful for you to use a service like this. Crypto rules differ wildly by country and by state, and you, not we, are responsible for knowing what your jurisdiction allows. If using FAME would break a law that applies to you, don't use it.
3. This is a preview
Right now, FAME is an early-access preview on Robinhood Chain. The coins, prices, pledges, vault balances, and fee numbers you see are illustrative demo data. No tokens exist yet, nothing is purchasable, and no trader has pledged anything. We built the preview so you can see how the machine will work, not so you can act on the numbers in it. Please don't.
4. Your account and wallet
You sign in through Privy with an email, Google, Apple, or a wallet you already have. Privy Inc. is our authentication and embedded-wallet provider, and it handles your login under its own terms and privacy policy. You're responsible for keeping your credentials, devices, and wallet keys safe. If someone gets into your account because they got into your email or your phone, we can't undo what they do there.
5. What a coin is, and isn't
Coins on FAME are collectibles tied to a trader's public track record. You back a trader; you never buy a piece of one. A coin is not a security, not a share of anyone's profits, and not a promise that anyone (the trader, us, or the market) will make you money. No dividends are owed to you, and none are implied.
Crypto assets are volatile. A coin's price can go to zero and stay there. Only ever put in what you'd be comfortable losing entirely, and treat everything on this site (stats, charts, commentary) as information, never as financial advice.
6. Traders, their stats, and their say
The trader identities and statistics shown on FAME come from publicly available leaderboard data. Traders don't need our permission to be good at trading in public, but they do get a say in how they appear here. A trader can claim their profile and vault by verifying control of their wallet with an on-chain proof. And any trader who'd rather not appear on FAME at all can email team@fame.trade and we'll remove their likeness. That offer doesn't expire.
7. What you agree not to do
Keep it clean. Don't manipulate prices, curves, or votes. Don't run bots, spam, or scripted abuse against the service. Don't use FAME for anything unlawful: fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, any of it. Don't infringe other people's rights: no impersonating traders, no scraping and reselling their likeness, no posting content you don't have the right to post. If you do any of this, we can suspend or close your access without notice.
8. Fees
The product concept carries a 1.5% fee on trades along a coin's bonding curve, split and swept on-chain in public. That number describes the design, not a contract with you: fees may change before or after launch, and during the preview no fee is actually charged because nothing is actually traded. When real fees exist, the live rate will be published on the site.
9. Pledges
When a trader claims their vault, they choose where their share of fees routes: keep it, send it to a verified nonprofit, spread it across a published basket, or buy the coin back. That choice belongs to the trader, not to us and not to you. Charity routing runs through third-party rails, and we don't control how quickly those organizations receive or use funds. Fees a trader directs to a nonprofit are the trader's doing. FAME doesn't take credit for them and doesn't hold them as donations. And nothing here is tax advice; if pledges create tax questions for you, ask someone qualified to answer them.
10. Our stuff
The FAME name, site design, text, and code are ours (or licensed to us). You can browse, screenshot, and share. That's the point. But you can't copy the service, rebrand it, or use our name to suggest we endorse something we don't.
11. Third parties
FAME relies on services we don't control: Privy for sign-in and wallets, Robinhood Chain as the underlying network, and public data from platforms like fomo. FAME is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by fomo, FOMO Labs, or Robinhood. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners; we use them only to describe where things run and where data comes from.
12. The honest fine print
FAME is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may change, pause, or discontinue any feature (or the whole service) at any time. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of FAME is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months (which, during the preview, is nothing). We're never liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits and lost tokens.
13. If your use of FAME causes trouble
If you break these terms or the law while using FAME and someone comes after us for it, you agree to defend us and cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees. Use the service the way it's meant to be used and this section will never matter to you.
14. Changes to these terms
We'll update these terms as FAME grows, especially as the preview becomes a real, live product. When we make meaningful changes we'll update the date at the top and, for big ones, say so on the site. Continuing to use FAME after a change means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and disputes belong in the courts of [Jurisdiction].
Note to ourselves, left in public on purpose: the jurisdiction above is a placeholder. We'll fill it in with counsel before launch.
16. Contact
Questions, takedown requests, or anything else: team@fame.trade. For how we handle your data, see the Privacy Policy.
