Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we deliberately don't, and what lives on a public chain where nobody, including us, can erase it.

1. What we collect
When you sign in, we receive an identifier from Privy: the email address, Google or Apple account identifier, or wallet address you signed in with. If Privy creates an embedded wallet for you, we see that wallet's public address too. Beyond sign-in, we keep the things you actively do on FAME (votes, preferences, and settings) and standard usage analytics: pages visited, rough device and browser info, and how the site performs.
2. What we don't collect
We never see or store your password. Privy handles authentication end to end, so there's no FAME password to leak. We don't collect card numbers or bank details. And we don't buy data about you from anyone else.
3. Public by design
Two kinds of data on FAME are public because that's the whole idea. First, on-chain activity: once real coins exist, anything you do from a wallet on Robinhood Chain (buys, sells, claims) is visible to the entire world on the chain itself, forever. Second, trader stats: the identities and track records shown on FAME come from publicly available leaderboard data. Neither of these is data we can hide, and this policy can't change how a public blockchain works.
4. Who processes data for us
Privy Inc. handles sign-in and embedded wallets, and processes your login data under its own privacy policy, worth a read if you want the full picture. Vercel hosts the site and provides our analytics, so requests to fame.trade pass through its infrastructure. We share data with these processors only so they can run the service, never to sell it, because we don't sell your data to anyone.
5. Cookies and localStorage
We use a small set of cookies and browser localStorage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and hold device-local things like votes you've cast in the preview. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site profiles. Clearing your browser data clears these. You'll just need to sign in again.
6. Keeping and deleting your data
We keep account data for as long as you have an account. Want out? Email team@fame.trade and we'll delete your account data: your login identifier, preferences, and votes. The one thing nobody can delete is on-chain history: transactions written to Robinhood Chain are permanent by the nature of a blockchain, and that's true on every chain, not just this one.
7. Not for kids
FAME is for adults. It isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has created an account, tell us and we'll delete it.
8. Your regional rights
Depending on where you live (the EU and UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA, and a growing list of others), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your data. Email us and we'll honor those requests. The formal legal basis and designated representative for [Jurisdiction] will be listed here.
Note to ourselves, left in public on purpose: the region-specific details above are placeholders. Counsel will fill in the GDPR/CCPA specifics and the governing jurisdiction before launch.
9. Changes
As the preview becomes a live product, this policy will change with it. We'll update the date at the top whenever it does, and flag meaningful changes on the site rather than sliding them in quietly.
